Downtown Dubai – Completed In July 2026
Our Floor Way team wrapped up an SPC Flooring project at a residential apartment in Burj Vista, Downtown Dubai. The existing hardwood floor had aged and worn down over the years and no longer matched the quality of the rest of the unit, so it was replaced with a durable, low-maintenance SPC flooring better suited to everyday living. Here’s a closer look at the materials used, the installation process, and how the apartment turned out.

A Curved Living Space Built Around the View
The layout at Apartment 1704 is what made this project different from a typical flooring job. A curved, floor-to-ceiling glass wall runs the length of the living area, connecting straight through to an open-plan kitchen, with nothing breaking the sightline to the Downtown Dubai skyline outside. The original hardwood floor had simply reached the end of its life, years of daily use had left it worn, and it no longer matched the standard the client wanted for the rest of the apartment, so our team assessed the space and specified a rigid-core SPC floor in a light, golden-oak tone with a wide-plank layout, chosen to complement the apartment’s bright, open feel and curved geometry, with the added benefit of long-term dimensional stability and low maintenance for a high-traffic, open-plan living area.
What Changed
Before: The living area had worn, ageing hardwood with a dull finish and visible gaps near the balcony doors, no longer matching the quality of the rest of the apartment.
After: A seamless light golden-oak SPC floor now runs across the entire open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, with tight, consistent seams and a bright, wide-plank finish that opens up the space and lets the Downtown Dubai skyline view take center stage.
